"Of light, shadows and suspicious behavior" - Frankfurt, Germany 2014
As you can tell I’m doing more Street than usual at the moment. There are several reasons for that. First of all this genre really got me hooked lately. I always loved it but I think my relationship to this genre just reached the next level. Furthermore I really try to blend my style into this and I hope this works out.
I still do minimal and abstract architecture of course. I’m working on a whole project right now. It’s minimalistic as always and I think even more abstract than usual. I’m aiming for a series of 10 to 15 photos. As soon as I’m happy with my set I’ll show it to you. Meanwhile I continue with my street series from Frankfurt Main Station.
All the best, Martin
Well, this is a re-edit of a concept I did some time ago. Always thought that the bankers in this pic in a way looked a bit extraterrestrial. So I thought why not using my not so distinctive editing skills on iPhone to emphasize that Impression. So I took an edited slow-shutter (iPhone app, does what it sounds like) pic I once did but never published anywhere because I wasn’t happy with it and blended it to the bankers I actually did post on Instagram before. After hours of masking I got a quite satisfying result. Finally I was using the great Picfx app for the spacy filters on the pavement. That’s it. Just thought it was time for some editing. I hope you like it!
